Food quality
A calm read on what your food is made of, not a grade.
What it is
Food quality is a calm read on what your day’s food is actually made of, beyond the calories. It is designed to inform, not to judge: there is no "good" or "bad" food, only patterns worth noticing.
How we calculate it
From the items you logged we read signals like fibre density (a proxy for whole, plant-rich food), sodium load, and how processed the items look. These combine into a 0-100 read with a short explanation of what lifted it and what lowered it.
When you have not logged enough detail to say anything honest, we hold the number back and ask for a little more rather than show a confident figure.
Micronutrients
Where the food is in our validated library, we also track the micronutrients it carries, magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium and vitamin D, against daily reference values, so you can see what your food is quietly giving you (or missing).
